Frequently Asked Questions
What is Network Spinal Analysis?
Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) is a gentle chiropractic approach developed by Dr. Donald Epstein. It uses light, precise contacts along the spine to help your nervous system release stored tension and find new, healthier ways to adapt to stress. Dr. Chad has used NSA since opening his practice in 1999 and blends it with his own Life Force Contact Therapy™.
Is Dr. Chad certified in Network Spinal Analysis?
Yes. Dr. Chad earned Part 3, the highest level of certification in the original Network Spinal Analysis. Dr. Epstein later evolved the method into NetworkSpinal, with a new certification program. Dr. Chad went on to develop his own mind-body approach, so he is not listed in the current NetworkSpinal directory. His care is rooted in his original NSA training, combined with his own Life Force Contact Therapy™.
How is it different from traditional chiropractic?
Traditional structural chiropractic often uses a quick, forceful thrust to move a bone back into place. Network Spinal Analysis uses gentle touch, with no cracking or twisting. The goal is not only to relieve pain, but to help your body release tension and become more aware of how it responds to stress.
Does it hurt?
No. The contacts are light, and most people find the sessions deeply relaxing. Many notice their breathing deepen, and some experience emotional release as tension lets go.
What happens at my first visit?
Your initial consultation is about an hour and a half. Dr. Chad gets to know your health history, life stressors, and goals, and assesses your spine and posture. Together you choose the care pathway that meets you where you are, especially if you are in acute pain.
Why are other people in the room during my visit?
Dr. Chad works in a group-style format, caring for up to four practice members at a time. Many people find the shared, calm energy of the room supportive of their healing.
Do you work with animals?
Yes. Dr. Chad offers wellness sessions for dogs, cats, and horses, as well as animal energy workshops for owners.
Can I work with Dr. Chad if I don't live on Oʻahu?
Yes. Virtual mind-body consultations are available by appointment for people anywhere in the world.
How much does care cost? Do you take insurance?
Pricing for each care pathway is listed on the Pathways page. Dr. Chad does not bill insurance, but he provides itemized invoices and receipts you can use for FSA or HSA reimbursement.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on your goals. Some people come for short-term relief through Lifeline Care; others choose a longer pathway such as Foundations or the Mind-Body Integration Program to create lasting change. You’ll decide together at your first visit.
What is the Infinite Body Awareness Collective?
The Collective is Dr. Chad’s online community for mind-body practices, classes, and support between visits, including Chad Bot, an AI mind-body guide.
